When business managers think of integration, they often envision some complex magic that consumes long hours (and much money) by their IT organizations to make systems work together. At Invendia, we have removed the mystery and complexity of integration by making it very simple to understand, build and keep current. How does Invendia Integration work? There are three ways that you can integrate Invendia with your existing systems and applications:
Manual Integration Invendia provides a web-based interface to enter and maintain data. Similar to an Excel spreadsheet, the web front-end allows password protected users to keep company data current. Making manual integration easier are the Invendia Integration wizards - a simple set of guided process steps which walk users through the data loading process. Manual integration is a very good option for companies with less than a total of 100 data points (items + locations + orders) to maintain. Invendia Integration Agent Leveraging data formats such as XML, tab-delimited, etc., files can be automatically passed between Invendia and other applications using the Invendia Integration Agent (IIA). The IIA securely moves these files in real-time (or in scheduled batches) between applications using a messaging framework. In addition, the IIA tracks errors and issues and notifies the system administrator either through a web front-end, emails or pager notification. This automated attendant is easily configured to ensure that integrations can be quickly built and managed with limited effort. For those companies with an existing integration infrastructure such as an EAI tool, the IIA can simply act as a receptor/agent, ensuring that there is no overlap with the existing infrastructure. Invendia and Security At all times, Invendia recognizes the need for security to be maintained. All files are sent using an encrypted key along with the encrypted file. Invendia uses 128-bit SSL encryption Invendia Packaged Integration Invendia realizes that there are a number of common applications that companies need to integrate. We provide packaged integrations to these applications/ solutions and devices. Our packaged integrations include the following groupings:
