Invendia is an integrated execution solution that is designed to facilitate companies management of their inter-enterprise inventories, be they at their customer/suppliers locations, inside their enterprise, in transit or overseas.

With a hosted solution, there is no software or hardware to purchase, upgrade or maintain. You pay as you go, paying on a monthly basis only for what you need. How do I install Invendia?
You don't! The solution is hosted and you do not have any applications to install.

How do I add or remove more users?
Simply go to the application and go to "Administration". The process is very quick and you can add new users or remove users in under two minutes.

Are there any tools to help me sell this solution within my own organization?
Yes, you can find a number of documents in the Downloads to help you sell this solution including an ROI spreadsheet that will help you calculate your estimated payback. Typically the packback for the Invendia solution is less than two months.

How do I educate my trading partners?
You can find a number of documents in the Downloads section to help you to help you sell this solution to your trading partners. We recommend that you start with the Business Case in a Box document.

How often does the application go down?
We maintain the application running across a number of application servers in our data center. We expect to have in excess of 99.99% up-time.

How often do new features come out and do I get access to them?
New features are added on a regular basis (every few weeks). As this is a hosted application, you will get access to these immediately and without additional cost.

What if I need new features?
Contact us to speak to our consultants who can understand your needs. If we cannot find an easy workaround, we will work with you to provide the new functionality as soon as possible.

What kind of support do I get?
With Invendia you get telephone support on the product from 8:30 AM EST to 6:30 PM EST and pager support beyond these hours. In addition, we have consultants that can help you with more complex problems such as integration to existing applications and data. You can reach us on our contact us page.

Can't I do this in my ERP solution?
ERP applications are designed to solve problems within the four walls of your enterprise and they are hard to reconfigure. Invendia has been designed to solve these specific issues and as a result is more effective in solving multi-enterprise inventory problems.

How does this application impact my existing systems?
Invendia enhances your existing systems by providing forward inventory positions for your various planning enquiries.

How do I download the application?
You don't need to as it is a hosted application.

Is there any reporting?
  • Invendia offers many online reports that the user can personalize using filters.
  • Reports can also be exported to Excel and XML on demand.
  • Invendia can also generate custom reports

How do I set up my information?
Information can be setup three ways:
  • Input or change any information through the browser/ web interface.
  • Through the browser follow the upload wizard to import/ change data using an excel template.
  • Use the Invendia Integration Agent (IIA) to connect your data/ systems to Invendia's open interface points.

How often is the system backed up?
The system is backed up on a daily basis.

How secure is my information, who can see it and who has access to it?
Your information is very secure. The connection to the server is encrypted using SSL. Then the system has organization/role application level security so that only authorized user can view or edit the information. In addition, our privacy statement precludes Invendia from using your data without your express consent.

What encryption standards does Invendia use?
Invendia uses 128-bit SSL encryption. These are the same standards used for internet banking.

What flat file types or agents do you use to move data?
Invendia allows the upload of data from a Microsoft Excel template directly to the server. The Invendia Integration Agent (IIA) has published data formats allowing integration from your data and systems to the Invendia server.

Can I override the system if the inventory number is wrong?
Yes, you can make an inventory adjustment to correct the inventory level. Invendia provides an audit trail of all transactions.
